DAV COIL manufactures heat exchangers of various shapes and systems capable of satisfying the construction specifications of the most demanding customers. In the photo section, shown below, you can see a series of examples that can best represent the ability to create special exchangers. Our technical department is able to find, together with the customer, the best solution that can combine quality and compliance with technical requirements with the final price. Summarizing in one sentence: “we specialize in the special”.
This term indicates spiral wound tube-in-tube exchangers. Normally built in stainless steel, they are used as evaporators or condensers in refrigeration systems to produce either cold or hot water. These types of exchangers are an alternative to plate heat exchangers and shell-and-tube heat exchangers. Cheaper than the latter, they are able to withstand much higher pressures (particularly suitable with new HCFC refrigerants). Thanks to their particular shape, they can be easily housed inside refrigeration machines being able, for example, to install a liquid receiver or other component in the internal annular space. Furthermore, DAV COIL is able to produce coils of various shapes, always starting from 3/8 "and / or ½" diameter pipes.
Pillow plate heat exchanger
Pillow plate heat exchanger are new types of heat exchangers formed by special plates welded together to form a large, highly performing exchange surface. The plates are obtained from stainless steel sheets of various thickness (10/10; 12/10; 15/10) welded together with appropriate electrical procedures and inflated at high pressure to obtain the spaces in which to circulate the fluid or gas heater or coolant. These exchangers can be immersed in liquids to heat or cool process fluids or used in heat recovery systems where the fumes are particularly dirty.
